Marketing in 2009

Marketing your business in 2009 is not like it was in 1999. Marketing for small and large businesses is evolving quickly as technology is becoming more influential in each of our lives.

Consumers are now putting aside the phone books, yellow pages, and directories, choosing instead to do “research” online for their current and future purchases or decisions. Websites are the new storefronts, the new image, the credibility that brings customers to your doorstep. Even the yellowpages and yellowbooks have their own directories online, as they try and lure businesses to advertise in the appropriate categories.

Google is now the ultimate yellow pages, directory, and research center to the world. Yahoo and Bing are also great contributors to finding what we need, want, and desire. Businesses are quickly finding out that they need not only a website, but a very strong online presence to survive in the year 2009.  As a company that specializes in websites and search engine optimization, we are seeing the numbers of online users increase monthly, traffic to client websites increasing, and more businesses requesting our services to have a dominate presence online.

In 2009, if your business does not look to have a dominate online presence, which involves an SEO company, your business is definitely missing out on hundreds if not thousands of new customers.  SEO is worth every nickel! It only makes sense, to follow the traffic, which is no longer with print directories, but with online search engines.
